Limited Workmanship Warranty
Mailbox Repair Service LLC (“MRS”)
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
1. Scope of This Limited Warranty
This Limited Workmanship Warranty applies only to qualifying installation, repair, replacement, or rebuild work performed directly by Mailbox Repair Service LLC and paid in full.
This warranty is limited to workmanship only, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations below.
2. What Is Covered
Workmanship Coverage (1 Year)
MRS warrants its workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion of the applicable work. If MRS determines that covered workmanship was defective, MRS’s sole obligation, at its option, will be to repair or re-perform the affected portion of the work.
Sole Remedy
Repair or re-performance is the sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Workmanship Warranty. No cash refunds, credits, or reimbursement for third-party work will be provided unless expressly agreed by MRS in writing.
Materials
Materials, products, components, hardware, mailbox units, inserts, finishes, coatings, paint, brick, stone, veneer, mortar, caps, plaques, and similar items are covered only to the extent of any applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty, if any. MRS does not provide a separate warranty on manufacturer-supplied materials unless expressly stated in writing.
Color / Finish / Match Variations
Exact matches in brick, stone, mortar, paint, texture, finish, sheen, aging, patina, or appearance are not guaranteed. Variations may occur due to age, weather exposure, dye lots, prior materials, field conditions, and product availability.
3. Exclusions
This Limited Workmanship Warranty does not cover any condition, damage, defect, failure, or loss caused in whole or in part by any of the following:
-
Weather / Acts of God: wind, hail, tornadoes, storms, flood, lightning, freeze-thaw cycles, UV exposure, moisture, drought, extreme temperatures, or other environmental conditions

4. Conditions That Void Coverage
This Limited Workmanship Warranty is void if:
-
the applicable invoice or balance has not been paid in full;
-
any person or entity other than MRS performs repair, modification, adjustment, or removal before MRS has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue;
-
MRS is denied reasonable access to inspect, test, or perform warranty work;
-
the customer fails to follow reasonable care and maintenance requirements; or
-
the claimed issue results from an excluded cause listed above.
5. Customer Care and Maintenance Requirements
To help preserve the installation and reduce avoidable damage, the customer is responsible for reasonable care and maintenance, including:
-
keeping drainage away from foundations and footings
-
avoiding prolonged water saturation or standing moisture
-
avoiding contact from vehicles, trailers, mowers, edgers, and similar equipment
-
not burying bases in soil, mulch, gravel, or other moisture-trapping material

Failure to use reasonable care and maintenance may reduce or void warranty coverage.

MRS may request additional information and may require an on-site inspection before determining whether coverage applies. If MRS determines that the issue is covered, MRS will schedule repair or re-performance within a commercially reasonable time, subject to weather, material availability, access, and scheduling.
7. Safety / Emergency Conditions
If you believe a condition may present a safety risk, avoid use of the area and contact MRS promptly. MRS does not assume responsibility for injuries, property damage, or loss resulting from continued use of a known or suspected unsafe condition.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
-
this Limited Workmanship Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties by MRS, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except to the extent such warranties cannot legally be disclaimed;
-
MRS’s total liability arising out of or related to any warranty claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid to MRS for the specific portion of work giving rise to the claim; and
-
MRS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of value, lost profits, delay damages, or costs incurred by third parties.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply in all cases.
9. USPS / HOA / Local Requirements
MRS is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with the United States Postal Service. USPS-controlled locks, arrow locks, master access, and certain mailbox approvals remain under USPS authority.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written scope of work, the customer remains responsible for confirming final placement, setbacks, height, mailbox type, HOA requirements, municipal requirements, and any other property or regulatory requirements applicable to the project.
10. Provider-Performed Projects
If any project is performed by an independent contractor, subcontractor, referral partner, or other non-MRS provider, that party’s own warranty terms, if any, will apply unless MRS expressly agrees otherwise in writing. MRS is not responsible for warranties offered by third parties unless specifically stated in a written agreement signed by MRS.
11. Transferability
This Limited Workmanship Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchasing customer and the original installation location.
